Chocolate spread, chocolate, nuts and peanut butter are foods that mice can't resist. Place them in the centre of the trap so that the mouse has to enter the trap to reach the bait.

It's useful to place the traps very close together, so that the mouse has to put all its feet on the glue to reach the bait you've added.

If you wish to free the animal, use vegetable oil. Be careful! Wild animals can carry diseases. Always wear thick gloves to protect yourself from bites!
